For the past few months, the whole internet was flooded with only one thing ‘Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard’, every 2nd reel or meme was dedicated to this case only, so while surfing through Instagram I came across a meme that had a pic of Johnny Depp and other male victims of defamation with the statement that ‘This society hasn’t been kind to men’.

This whole meme was too hyperfocused, the reality is that our society hasn’t been kind to anyone, be it the female population, be it the LGBTQ+ community, be it minority religions in any country, be it animals or nature. Not just humanity but the nature as a whole has seen one of the worst crimes targeting every community, be it a crime against women [Nirbhaya case and many more], be it a crime against religious communities[The Holocaust and many more], insensitivity towards nature, discrimination against LGBTQ+ communities.

Our society is nothing but a hypocrite!!!

People say that men are dominating and always tend to dominate because they have no other choice, soft men have been poked the most by the society for not showing so-called manliness and the standards set up by the society for men, other reason is that this is what they have seen from their forefathers and giving up on heredity is as impossible as to give up on their mother tongue.

Boys since birth are told that they need to work hard as they would be earning to run a family but running a family itself mean being in an authoritative position just the way the government runs the nation, if boys had been told that they need to earn to be the support system of the family, to be the base of the family, things would have been different. In our society men have been made liable to provide luxury to their families but the thing is that they should be liable to provide only the basic facilities and we should be liable for our luxury.

People say that when a man earns he tries to provide for his lady his whole world but when a female earns she tries to be independent because even if she would try to run the family it would and might hurt their spouse’s ego, even if the man won’t be egoistic, the society won’t let them live peacefully and would always eager to poke the stay at home dads.

Domestic violence might have gone down in some sections of the society and the condition might have ameliorated among ‘Millenials’ as compared to ‘Boomers’ not because the men have got educated but because the female have got educated and because of their degrees their options increased thus became capable of leaving their spouses rather being abused and their spouse also know that they have enough power to not to be submissive.

Humans are not civilized animals but animals with their hands tied with the chains of rules, laws and constitution and the society is nothing but a jungle where ‘survival of the fittest still applies. Society favours those who have power, be it monetary power, be it political power or be its physical power and it is irrespective of somebody’s colour, caste, creed and sex.

Today countries avoid war not because they love peace but because of the advancement in technology and war equipment, many countries becoming nuclear power have tied their hands and war could lead to much destruction that humanity would never be able to overcome.

People say that rich and powerful kids take advantage of nepotism because why not??!!! Everybody wants and does take advantage of the privilege they’ve got because why not??!! Everybody works hard not only for their comfort but for their future generations also. Even if the rich people do charity they do so because they’ve got some kind of advantage in it.

The thing is that we are mere survivors in the journey of our life and everybody wants strength and power, either they fight and struggle for it or feed over anybody else. It's also the very fact that we cannot eliminate such societal problems but we can definitely make the submissives so much powerful so that the dominants would think twice before attacking and the submissives could actually save themselves. We can’t eliminate the problems but can definitely reduce their tendency.

Thank you!!
